It's German, mid-engined, rear wheel drive, and has a sequential transmission. These words may make you think of an ultra-high performance supercar, but we're actually talking about a quirky and highly desirable microcar that has gained a loyal following. We're talking about the Messerschmitt KR200. This KR200 is the later, more powerful model with a slightly larger engine at 191cc, mated to a sequential transmission that offers 4 speeds in both forward and reverse by instead changing the rotation of the engine rather than transmission, and drives it's power to the singular rear wheel. The example we have in stock here is also a Kabrio model with a folding cloth soft top rather than the acrylic top, for an open-air experience unlike any other car you've ever been in. The KR200 does feature two red vinyl covered seats with white piping, in tandem, for carrying a passenger or other goods. Another improvement over previous models for the KR200 was the addition of an electric windshield wiper. The exterior of this Messerschmitt is finished in a bright and bold shade of red that is sure to get attention wherever you take this unique little car.
