Hemi V8 - Borg-Warner 4-Speed Manual Transmission - Dana 60 Rear-End - Blue Line Tires - Serious Sleeper! - Correct GG1 Code Dark Green Paint - Black InteriorIt's a wolf in sheep's clothing. On the outside, this car looks like a relatively sweet and simple Belvedere II. A car ready to tackle your everyday routine. But that's not what this Belvedere was built for. Under the unassuming, quiet, subtle, exterior sits a beastly drivetrain: a dual-quad carburetor fed 425hp 426C.I. Hemi V8, connected to a strong Borg-Warner 4-Speed manual transmission, and a robust Dana 60 rear-end designed to put all that power to the pavement. The fender tags state that this car was ordered specifically this way, with the second fender tag stating the rare powerplant choice. The fifth digit of the VIN also confirms the powerplant choice, and the original and rare Certicard is also included. Only 280 Belvedere II two-door hardtops left the factory with the combination of a 426C.I. Hemi and a 4-Speed manual transmission, an extremely rare and desirable combination. No power steering or brakes here, this Belvedere was ordered and built from the factory for raw performance! The exterior of this stunning classic Mopar is finished in understated and elegant GG1 code Dark Green Iridescent, accented by glistening chromework all around. The interior is High trim grade black vinyl with a spacious split front bench seat. Please feel welcome to visit our showroom/museum in tropical Venice, Florida for an up-close and personal look at this 60's muscle machine, or you may contact our friendly sales team online or over the phone at your convenience to put it in your garage as soon as possible! Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle. 'Cuda Hemi Convertible

Offered at:

Call For Price: 941-966-1900

PD:

Period Correct 426C.I. Hemi V8 Engine - Heavy Duty 4-Speed Manual w/ Pistol Grip Shifter - Heavy Duty Dana 60 Rear End - Shaker Hood - Magnum 500 Wheels w/ Classic Firestone Wide Oval Tires - Wood-Rim Steering Wheel - Dual Painted Racing Mirrors - Driving Lights - Desirable B5 (Blue Fire Iridescent) Blue - White Vinyl Interior w/ Bucket Seats & Center Console - Excellent Hemi Tribute Car!1970 was a red-letter year for muscle cars, we got the now most popular Chevelle, an updated Mustang lineup including the Boss 302 and 429, but most notably Mopar came onto the pony car scene with the E-body Dodge Challenger and Plymouth 'Cuda. Both the Challenger and the 'Cuda have extremely loyal followings today, but there's certainly nothing else like the one-of-a-kind 1970 'Cuda. The 1970 model is arguably the best looking of all the 'Cuda and Barracuda models with it's deep inset grille with extra ventilation and the turn signals hidden at the top of the grille, practically tucked under the hood. The single headlamps on each side gave the grille, and therefore the whole car, a low, wide, and sleek appearance that no other pony car could match. The driving lights placed in front of the lower grille below the front bumper give the appearance of the sharp teeth of a barracuda, ready to attack. This gorgeous convertible example takes that uniquely sleek look to a whole new level. The exterior is finished in instantly recognizable Blue Fire Iridescent, also known as B5 Blue, and is accented by the black convertible top and black “hockey stick” Hemi stripe, as well as beautiful chromework. Under the hood is a beastly 426C.I. breathing through the highly desirable Shaker hood scoop and featuring upgrades such as MSD ignition and an aluminum radiator to help keep that powerplant running cool. The engine is connected to a heavy duty 4-speed manual transmission with a Pistol Grip shifter and drives the power to the rear wheels via the supremely strong Dana 60 rear axle. The exterior of this 'Cuda also features dual painted racing mirrors and Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in classic-look Firestone Wide Oval tires. Step inside and sit back in the comfortable white vinyl bucket seats separated by a center console with woodgrain accents, and enjoy the view of the beautiful interior, including the sought-after wood rimmed steering wheel, and the aforementioned Pistol Grip shifter. This 'Cuda offers the same amount of fun as a true Hemi car, for a fraction of the price and with less worry when taking it for a spin. All this 'Cuda needs is YOU in the driver's seat. It's waiting, are you ready? As always, you are welcome to visit our showroom/museum in sunny Venice, Florida or you may contact one of our friendly sales specialists online or over the phone at your convenience. This is a real, 1 of 388, numbers matching engine and transmission, 1969 Road Runner A12 440 6-BBL. That's right, this factory drag racing beast still houses the 440C.I. high-performance 6-barrel V8 engine and heavy duty A833 4-speed manual transmission it left the factory with in 1969. The transmission is topped with a Hurst shifter with a wood knob that sits at just the right height, and feels perfect in the hand. Even the Sure Grip 4.10 ratio heavy duty Dana 60 rear axle looks to be correct. But the greatness of this car doesn't stop there, this car also comes with its original broadcast sheet which denotes all of its options and features from the factory as well as its original owner's manual. Our in-house Mopar specialist has done a complete decode of the build sheet codes, fender tag codes, engine numbers, and transmission numbers, of which premium printed versions will be included with the vehicle. The body panels look to be correct and original. The undercarriage is exceptionally clean and the rocker panels and spot welds look as smooth as the day they left the factory. The interior shows extremely well and is covered in smooth black vinyl with a front bench seat, ideal for drag racing because of the lighter weight compared to factory buckets. The factory lightweight fiberglass lift-off hood comes with two sets of props for displaying the engine bay. In the engine bay you'll find the signature “Voice of Road Runner” horn which works very well. The exterior is finished in Rallye Green under Special Order code “97”, a very rare and desirable color. Something like this 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda we have in stock. Under the hood sits the legendary 426C.I. Hemi V8 breathing through a Shaker hood scoop and fantastic sounding Magnaflow exhaust, upgraded with F.I. Tech fuel injection, MSD ignition, and heavy duty Optima Battery.
