Little is it known that the headlights were to be retractable like the Lamborghini Miura or Porsche 928, but engineering concerns prevented them making it to production and thus, the design was born that would make the Sprite forever famous. This is a wonderful 1960 example finished in bold Signal Red with a white stripe and offset by a black interior. The engine is a peppy 948cc 4-cylinder fed by twin SU carburetors and mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Like most British 4-cylinders, it sounds absolutely amazing!
