Under the hood of this rare piece of American automotive history is its numbers matching 455C.I. V8 engine equipped with the correct “D” heads. That marvelous motor is connected to a strong Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission with the famous Hurst “His & Hers” shifter for manually rowing through the gears of the venerable automatic, and a 3.23 Positraction rear axle to help put all the power to the pavement. Also in the engine bay you'll notice the lightweight W-30 style red inner fenders, as well as the power steering pump and brake booster for the front disc brakes. The interior is appointed in smooth black vinyl covering comfortable front bucket seats, as well as a Hurst 442 shifter, wood-rim steering wheel, and a Sunpro tachometer. The exterior is where this car really shines though. It's finished in desirable Ebony Black and features a black vinyl top and red pinstripe, all accented by beautiful chromework. The cherry on top is really those legendary Cragar S/S wheels. On this 442 they're staggered with P205/70R14 BFGoodrich Radial T/As in the front and massive 295/50R15s in the rear.
