The distinctive front grille is evocative of a jet fighter, and the new sharper body gives it a lower and sleeker look than previous Camaros. This 1970 Camaro was born a true Z/28, a very desirable and sought-after option today. Under the hood is the legendary small block 350C.I. V8 engine mated to a Borg-Warner Super T-10 4-speed manual transmission. The aluminum intake and finned valve covers shine proudly over the distinctive orange block. Power steering and power brakes make for a safer and more comfortable drive without losing any of the classic feel of this amazing piece of Chevrolet history. It sits on the more aggressive “Special” Sport 5-spoke wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A rubber. Now is the time to get the pony car of your dreams while you can! Here come de Judge! The Pontiac GTO was already a car with massive performance numbers and a strong following set up by John DeLorean and Pontiac's genius marketing strategies, but The Judge took it to a whole new level. This special and highly desirable model was based on a character from Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In that was usually played by star Sammy Davis Jr., who was a regular on the show. The skit was a huge hit with Sammy Davis Jr.'s comedic genius, and the outrageous nature of the skit and the show led to GM creating the equally outrageous and captivating GTO The Judge. This Judge is extra special, as under the hood is its numbers matching 400C.I. Ram Air III V8 engine matched up to the numbers matching Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission. Other options on this one-of-a-kind Goat include a special order Formula steering wheel, power steering, 8-track player, Y96 suspension, Rally gauge cluster, Hurst T-handle shifter, Safe-T-Track axle, and more! Additionally, this GTO comes with a load of documentation including it's original Bill of Sale, a window sticker, owner's manual, and PHS docs that include a copy of the build sheet and confirm this Judge's authenticity. This example sits of PMD Rally II wheels wrapped in vintage-look Firestone Wide Oval tires. The exterior is finished in correct Polar White that really makes the colorful “The Judge” only striping stand out! The black vinyl interior is in excellent condition and features front bucket seats and a dash with wood and machine turned accents. So, with all the evidence taken into consideration, I find you GUILTY of falling in love with this magnificent GTO Judge! Challenger T/A

Offered at:

Call For Price: 941-966-1900

PD:

- Signed by T/A Racing Driver Sam Posey!- Numbers Matching 340C.I. Six Pack V8- Heavy Duty A727 Transmission- Slap Stik Shifter- Real A53 Code T/A!- Lightweight Fiberglass Scooped Hood- Side Exit Exhaust- Mopar Rallye Wheels- Power Steering- Power Brakes- T/A Spoilers- Finished in correct FY1 Top Banana- Black Interior w/ Bucket Seats & ConsoleThe Dodge Challenger T/A is one of the most sought-after classic pony cars on the market. Sure, there were Challengers with bigger and more powerful engines, but the weight of those engines often made them feel heavy and cumbersome to drive. The T/A was a totally different animal. Under the lightweight factory fiberglass scooped hood sits the numbers matching, potent 340C.I. V8 fed by three 2-barrel Holley carburetors and exhaling through dual side exit exhaust, mated to the super strong A727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission with the 'Slap Stik' shifter and an 8¾” rear axle. This powertrain, as well as the fiberglass front and rear spoilers, make for a lightweight yet planted racing homologation car that feels like its ready to hit the track and dominate over any opponent. This was proven in the 1970 Trans-Am racing series where the Challenger held its ground excellently against competitors, with drivers like Sam Posey who was at the wheel of the #76 and #77 Challengers. This Challenger has been signed by Posey himself on the air cleaner lid for all to see when you pop those hood pins. This is a real deal T/A with the A53 option shown on the trim tag as well as the supplemental Trans Am trim tag and correct, T/A only, engine code in the VIN. Other features on this unique Challenger include power steering and brakes, high-performance aluminum radiator, Rallye instrument cluster, painted dual racing mirrors, as well as Mopar Rallye wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A rubber. Chrysler Corporation was very well known for their bright and whacky colors in this era called the High Impact Paint (HIP) line. This T/A is finished in one of those very desirable High Impact Paint colors, FY1 Top Banana, or Lemon Twist as it would be called for Plymouth. The black striping, hood, and spoilers accent that bright color very nicely and really make this car pop! Inside you'll find a High trim grade black vinyl interior with bucket seats and a center console. The trunk is very clean and houses the spare wheel and tire. Underneath, this Challenger T/A is exceptionally clean and solid. This car would make the perfect addition to any serious classic collection, especially for those who may already have a Z/28 or Boss Mustang and want to complete their trinity of Trans-Am homologation cars from the era with one of the nicest T/As on the market. Please feel welcome to visit our showroom/museum in sunny Venice, Florida for a personal viewing of this delightful Dodge, or you may contact a member of our sales team online or over the phone at your convenience for more information about putting this one in your garage! Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle.
