1 of 168! - Window Sticker! - Real W-30 Convertible! - Matching Numbers 455C.I. V8 Engine - Matching Numbers, Correct "OW" Code, Turbo-Hydramatic 400 Transmission w/ Hurst Dual-Gate Shifter - All Code Correct Quadrajet Carburetor! - Correct Winter's Aluminum Intake - Correct 3.23 Positraction Rear Axle upgraded w/ W-27 Aluminum Cover - Original Warranty Booklet - Documented Southern Car - Finished In Viking Blue w/ White Stripes & Convertible Top - Parchment Interior w/ Bucket Seats & Console - Photo History Including a Picture w/ Original Owner from June 1970 - Letters from OldsmobileYes, this is the real deal. 1 of 264 W-30 convertibles, and 1 of only 168 fitted with the strong Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission and Hurst Dual-Gate shifter. This W-30 still sports its numbers matching high-performance 455C.I. V8 engine, numbers matching correct “OW” code T-H 400 transmission, and correct “SF” code 3.23 Positraction rear axle. The famous W-30 added even more performance to the already potent 442, and was extremely under-rated at 370hp when it was really putting out close to 450hp! Torque? Are you even asking that question? In just about every guise the 455C.I. V8 made enough torque to reverse the rotation of the Earth. The W-30 is no different at an advertised 500lb-ft, and probably making a healthy amount more than that. It even features its all code correct Rochester Quadrajet carburetor and correct Winter's aluminum intake. The powerplant sits under a W25 lightweight fiberglass hood with dual fresh air scoops. All that power is sent to the rear wheels via that previously mentioned special heavy-duty T-H 400 and heavy-duty 3.23 Posi rear end. The W-30 was (and still is) an absolute beast of a muscle car. But all that performance doesn't mean you have to give up comfort and convenience, and this example is packed to the gills with options. Other features include the factory “Four-Season” air conditioner, power steering, power front disc brakes, Rocket Rally Pac gauges, FE2 Rally suspension, Y60 lighting package, A90 power trunk lid latch, and the interesting T44 interior hood lock. All these options and more can be found on the included original window sticker from nearby dealership Ferman Oldsmobile which this W-30 was originally purchased from in late 1969. Also included with the documentation of this outstanding Olds are the original warranty booklet, manuals, letters from Oldsmobile in reference to this car, and a photo history which includes a picture from July 1970 of the original owner with the car. The documentation also shows this to be a lifelong Southern car spending it's life in Florida and Georgia. The exterior has been finished in Viking Blue with white hood stripes that match the white convertible top and Parchment interior very nicely. It sits atop the legendary Olds Super Stock II wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle RH rubber. This car is one of the most sound investments you can make, and is sure to continue climbing in value for many years to come. Here is your chance to own the car of your dreams, all you have to do is give us a call, send us an email, or visit our showroom in sunny Venice, Florida and speak to one of our friendly sales associates. Don't wait, this W-30 is sure to attract many collectors! Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle. - 400C.I. V8 Engine - Tri-Carb (aka Tri-Power) Induction - 4-Speed Manual Transmission - Power Steering - Extra Parts Included; Original Radio, Intake, Show Floor Mats, etc. - Midnight Blue Exterior w/ Red Pinstripe - Blue Interior w/ Bucket Seats & ConsoleOldsmobile may not be around today, but they left us with some of the most amazing muscle cars of all time, one of which is the legendary 442. It was introduced in 1964 and lasted all the way into the 1990's in various forms, but it's first two generations are the most sought after in the collector and enthusiast market. This 1967 marks the final year of it's first generation, with it's sharp and elegant styling showing that Oldsmobile could do it all: comfort, style, and performance. Under the hood of this factory-fresh looking example is a 400C.I. V8 engine that's fed by what Olds called “Tri-Carb” induction, which you may know better as Chevrolet's “Tri-Power” system. The three Rochester 2-Jet carburetors make sure that massive motor has plenty of power to feed the rear wheels. It all adds up to 350hp and an astonishing 440lb-ft of Earth-churning torque. That power is sent though a 4-speed manual transmission with a special 442 Hurst shifter for maximum fun and performance. Power steering ensures a smooth and easy driving experience. The exterior of this marvelous muscle machine is finished in gorgeous Midnight Blue metallic with bold red pinstriping, the perfect color to accent the red-line tires and red Oldsmobile badges. The chrome is in excellent condition and shines beautifully. The interior is also in exceptional condition and covered in a unique shade of bright blue vinyl, and features bucket seats separated by a center console. Also included with this Olds is it's original radio, original intake manifold, extra floor mats for shows, and more! This would be the ideal 442 to add to any GM enthusiast's collection.
