Myers- Final year for true fuel injection until 1985!- 4-Wheel Disc Brakes- Power Windows- Rare Telescoping Steering Wheel- Correct Saddle Leather Interior- Power Brakes- Aluminum Turbine Wheels- Stunning Chrome Work- Power Windows- Finished in Correct Milano Maroon! The second-generation Corvette has always been, and will likely always be, the most desirable and collectable Corvette of all time. It was truly an icon of 1960's car culture and has been immortalized in song, art, and other mediums. Designed by the legendary Larry Shinoda, the Stingray is sharp, modern, flashy 60's perfection. It looked like it was from another planet with its bulging fenders and super sleek shape, catching the attention of everyone. It carved the way for every Corvette that followed, and solidified Chevrolet's presence in the sports car market. From the punchy little 327C.I. V8 to the massive 427C.I. big block, the C2 Corvette Stingray came with a wide variety of powertrain options. One of the more unique options available from 1963 to 1965 only was the 327C.I. V8 fitted with mechanical fuel injection.Making an incredible 375hp from the small block engine, the L84 optioned Fuelie Corvette was a marvel of technology for its time and offered a unique experience from its carbureted siblings. The 1965 model year marked the end of fuel injection for the Corvette until the later Crossfire Injection of 1982 and then Tuned Port Injection in 1985. The early fuel injected Corvettes didn't sell as well as carbureted models due to its high price tag and the specialized service it required. Only 771 Corvettes were fitted with the option in its final year, and this is one of those very special cars. Due to their complexity, many fuel injected Corvettes of this era had their intakes swapped and then topped with a carburetor, leaving many original fuel injection units lost to time. But this example is all correct with matching numbers on the engine, Muncie 4-speed transmission, and Rochester fuel injection unit. The rear differential is date code correct and features a 3.36 final drive ratio with Positraction to help put the power to the pavement. This spectacular example comes with other sought-after options, increasing its rarity and value. It's fitted with power 4-wheel disc brakes, power windows, and rare telescoping steering wheel so you can more easily find the perfect driving position in this one-of-a-kind 'Vette. The interior sports its correct Saddle leather upholstery, another rare and desirable option. The interior also features a 6,500rpm redline tachometer, 160mph speedometer, Delco AM-FM radio, color-matched seatbelts, 3-spoke steering wheel with wood-look rim, a large, carpeted storage area behind the seats, and that iconic Muncie shifter in the center. The exterior is finished in gorgeous Milano Maroon, of which only 2,831 were painted in that year, and is accented by glimmering chrome work and desirable aluminum turbine wheels wrapped in Goodyear white line tires. The underside of this Corvette is just as nice as the top and shows its original bare fiberglass with not covered with paint or undercoat. This classic fuel-injected Stingray is ready to be the centerpiece of any collection, and shut down any 413C.I. Super Stock Dodges it may come across along the way. Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle. The GTO was one of Pontiacs biggest hits, and you could say that it came down to great marketing with the song, the controversial tiger advertisements, Esso's tiger tails, and US Royal's Tiger Paw tires, but we all know it was because the car was just so good! The GTO was created by John DeLorean with hesitant approval from GM executives, but was an instant hit and is considered by many to be the first muscle car. V8 engine that is believed to be original and has been upgraded to a Tri-Power induction system with Rochester carburetors for some extra get-up-and-go! That powerplant is mated to a Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission and a 3.23 Safe-T-Track rear axle to put that power to the pavement. Other features on this Goat include power disc brakes, Rally gauge package with factory tachometer, heavy duty radiator, quick ratio steering, T3 headlights, working Delco AM radio, and more! Though it's the color combination that's the most interesting and unique part, with it's correct Starlight Black exterior finish matched to the correct Blue vinyl interior with Strato-Bucket seats, a combination that you're unlikely to see anywhere else. V8 Engine w/ Tri-Power Induction - 4-Speed Manual Transmission w/ Hurst Shifter - Coker Classic Redline Tires - Power Steering - Factory Tachometer - Black Interior w/ Bucket Seats and Console - Black Convertible Top - Finished in Mayfair MaizeJohn DeLorean was one of the greatest men in American automotive history, and Pontiac was by far his greatest achievement. He took it from being an “old lady” brand to being one of the most well-known high-performance manufacturers of it's day, and the car that helped achieve that was the legendary G.T.O. It also launched one of the greatest advertising campaigns of all time with the famous “Tiger” ads. Those advertisements came coupled with similar efforts from U.S. Royal (Uniroyal) with their new “Tiger Paw” tires coming as standard equipment on G.T.O.s, and Esso giving out faux tiger tails along with their “Tiger in Your Tank” ads. The G.T.O. was an absolute hit and an instant classic. It would forever be a legend in the automotive world. This G.T.O. sports the 389C.I. V8 engine with Tri-Power induction matched to a 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. It also sports power steering, factory tachometer, and beautiful original style steel wheels with chrome center and lip, wrapped in new Coker redline tires. The exterior is finished in Mayfair Maize, the color that was often seen sported in those same G.T.O. “Tiger” ads. Inside you'll find black vinyl bucket seats separated by a center console. The black convertible top is in very nice condition and matches the interior well. This is one G.T.O. you just can't go wrong with, and is sure to bring lots of happy years to it's next owner.
