Camaro Z/28 # Matching VE3

Offered at:

$154,000

PD:

- Real X33 Code Z/28- Numbers Matching DZ Code 302C.I. V8 Engine- Muncie M21 Close Ratio 4-Speed Manual Transmission- Hurst Shifter- VE3 Body Color Front Bumper- Rally Wheels- Chambered Exhaust- Power Disc Brakes- Ivory Interior w/ Bucket Seats- Center Console w/ Gauges- Finished in Hugger Orange w/ White StripesThe first-generation Camaro lasted until this 1969 model year when it again paced the 69 Indianapolis 500. For 1969, Camaro had all-new sheet metal except the hood and trunk lid giving the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with a heavy 'V' cant and deeply inset headlights. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider, more aggressive look. The wheel wells were flattened with sculptured feature lines flowing off towards the rear of the car and rear-slanting simulated air slots ahead of the rear wheel. The front had a full width paint matched bumper integrated with the body color grille surround and round parking lights positioned on either side of the license plate. At the rear were wider tail light bezels with triple segment lenses. The interior was updated with square gauges and an optional tachometer. Camaro had two important packages available on any model. Perhaps the most special and iconic package option was the Z28 performance package that reflected Chevrolets entry in the SCCA Trans-Am race series. Z28 included a solid-lifter 302 V8, 4-Speed Manual Transmission, Power Disc Brakes, and two wide bold stripes down the hood and decklid. The styling, considered by many Camaro enthusiasts as the ultimate muscle car look and arguably the most popular, would serve for the 1969 model year only. Advertisements assured everyone Camaro isn't called The Hugger for nothing. Its wide stance and nimble wheelbase make for a cat-quick maneuverability. GM Executives agreed with the passion for this design as it became the inspiration for the retro fifth-generation Camaro. This stunning 1969 Camaro Z28 was built in the Norwood, Ohio plant during the fourth week of February and comes wearing the same classic Code 72 Chevy Camaro Hugger Orange it did from the assembly line. The original paint color has a deep luster on a body that is straight with good factory fit and finish. All the chrome and stainless shines and shows brilliantly throughout. Lifting the functional air breathing hood with the reverse cowl scoop reveals the 302 V8 that punches out 290 excited horses to grip the asphalt. The correctly numbered 302C.I. engine sits in an impressive engine bay that is clean, well preserved and properly sorted with original factory stickers and hardware that truly reflects the '69 factory presentation. Power is delivered by the Code M21 4-Speed close ratio transmission with the Hurst shifter. Performance is delivered to the raised white lettered BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires mounted on Rally wheels which adds to the stylish competition look. Inside this cool Camaro coupe, with trim Code 727 Ivory white Bucket Seat Interior as noted on the cowl tag, you'll find one of the most stylish and cleanest cockpits of the muscle era that is true to its originality. The full length console is fitted with an array of gauges for Battery, Temperature, Oil and Fuel which coordinate well with the Tach and Speedo within the Black Dash. Everywhere you look, you marvel at how this Camaro Z28 has been restored on a very high level with every precaution taken to preserve and show originality. Without a doubt, this Hugger Orange 1969 Camaro Z28 is a muscle car in its purest and most attractive form. Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle. Corvette L84 Fuelie Coupe

Offered at:

Call For Price: 941-966-1900

PD:

Check out every picture of this incredibly rare 1965 number matching Corvette. This stunning Corvette is an exceptionally original example of a rare final year mechanical fuel injection car, 1 of only 771 built!- Numbers Matching Engine, Fuel Injection Unit, and Transmission!- Numbers Matching 375hp L84 327C.I. V8- 1 of only 771 built!- Numbers Matching Muncie 4-Speed Manual Transmission- Date Correct 3.36 PosiTraction Rear End- Numbers Matching Factory Rochester Fuel Injection Unit- Paint Correction and 3 Year Angel Wax ceramic coating by Alpha Coatings of Ft. Myers- Final year for true fuel injection until 1985!- 4-Wheel Disc Brakes- Power Windows- Rare Telescoping Steering Wheel- Correct Saddle Leather Interior- Power Brakes- Aluminum Turbine Wheels- Stunning Chrome Work- Power Windows- Finished in Correct Milano Maroon! The second-generation Corvette has always been, and will likely always be, the most desirable and collectable Corvette of all time. It was truly an icon of 1960's car culture and has been immortalized in song, art, and other mediums. Designed by the legendary Larry Shinoda, the Stingray is sharp, modern, flashy 60's perfection. It looked like it was from another planet with its bulging fenders and super sleek shape, catching the attention of everyone. It carved the way for every Corvette that followed, and solidified Chevrolet's presence in the sports car market. From the punchy little 327C.I. V8 to the massive 427C.I. big block, the C2 Corvette Stingray came with a wide variety of powertrain options. One of the more unique options available from 1963 to 1965 only was the 327C.I. V8 fitted with mechanical fuel injection.Making an incredible 375hp from the small block engine, the L84 optioned Fuelie Corvette was a marvel of technology for its time and offered a unique experience from its carbureted siblings. The 1965 model year marked the end of fuel injection for the Corvette until the later Crossfire Injection of 1982 and then Tuned Port Injection in 1985. The early fuel injected Corvettes didn't sell as well as carbureted models due to its high price tag and the specialized service it required. Only 771 Corvettes were fitted with the option in its final year, and this is one of those very special cars. Due to their complexity, many fuel injected Corvettes of this era had their intakes swapped and then topped with a carburetor, leaving many original fuel injection units lost to time. But this example is all correct with matching numbers on the engine, Muncie 4-speed transmission, and Rochester fuel injection unit. The rear differential is date code correct and features a 3.36 final drive ratio with Positraction to help put the power to the pavement. This spectacular example comes with other sought-after options, increasing its rarity and value. It's fitted with power 4-wheel disc brakes, power windows, and rare telescoping steering wheel so you can more easily find the perfect driving position in this one-of-a-kind 'Vette. The interior sports its correct Saddle leather upholstery, another rare and desirable option.
