According to the included build sheet, this GTX was born with a 3.23 Sure-Grip 8¾” rear end, S15 extra heavy duty Hemi suspension with front sway bar, 11” heavy duty brakes, and much more! This already stunning car also comes with it's original window sticker, adding to it's collectability even more. Other features include power steering, A01 light package, 3-speed windshield wipers, fender mounted turn signal indicators, A04 basic package, belt and body side moldings, and many other standard features included on the GTX. Having been shot down on his Banshee concept car, John took on the new Camaro's chassis instead and gave it unique Pontiac flair. Under the hood of this beautiful example sits a potent 400C.I. V8 engine fed by a 4-barrel carburetor and mated to a strong Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission that's sure to allow this classic Pon-Pon to drive down the road with ease. Other features included on this Firebird include power brakes, power steering, and power convertible top for open air fun. The exterior is finished in bold Carousel Red accented by tasteful amounts of chrome and PMD Rally II wheels wrapped in high-performance Sumitomo HTR A/S P02 redline tires. The interior is in very nice condition and is covered in smooth black vinyl with bucket seats and a center console finished in a tasteful wood burl veneer.
