GTO The Judge

Offered at:

Call For Price: 941-966-1900

PD:

Real GTO Judge! - 1 of 618! - PHS Docs! - Era Correct 400C.I. V8 Engine - Ram Air III - Upgraded 200-R4 4-Speed - Upgraded Factory A/C that Blows Ice Cold! - Pypes Custom Exhaust - QA1 Coilovers - Power Steering - Power Front Disc Brakes - Power Windows - Power Locks - Upgraded 17" PMD Rallye Wheels - Extremely Rare Correct Orbit Orange Car! - Black Interior w/ Bucket Seats & Console - Modern Alpine Stereo System Here come de Judge! Here come de Judge! The Pontiac GTO was already a car with massive performance numbers and a strong following set up by John DeLorean and Pontiac's genius marketing strategies, but The Judge took it to a whole new level. This very special model was based on a character from Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In that was usually played by star Sammy Davis Jr. who was a regular on the show. The skit was a huge hit with Sammy Davis Jr.'s comedic genius, and the outrageous nature of the skit and the show led to GM creating the equally outrageous and captivating GTO The Judge. This Judge is powered by an era correct 400C.I. V8 engine inhaling through a Ram Air III intake system and exhaling through a custom Pypes exhaust system. The transmission has been upgraded to a more modern 200-4R automatic. Other upgrades include QA1 adjustable coilovers, a rebuilt factory air conditioning system that blows ice cold, and larger 17” classic-look PMD Rallye wheels. It also features power steering, power front disc brakes, power locks, and power windows for your convenience. Also included is Pontiac Historical Services (PHS) documentation as well as a reproduction window sticker and other supplementary sales and marketing material from the era. Being a Judge, it certainly stands out amongst the crowd, but this one stands out even more so in it's correct Orbit Orange paint, making it 1 of only 618 originally finished in that unique and bold color. The interior features black vinyl covered bucket seats and a center console, as well as a beautiful machine-turned dash housing a subtle and modern Alpine stereo that sounds amazing! On top of all that (or on the bottom rather), the undercarriage of this Judge is clean enough to eat off of and would surely impress even the most meticulous eyes. So, with all the evidence taken into account, I find you GUILTY of falling in love with this magnificent GTO Judge! You are always welcome to visit our showroom/museum in sunny Venice, Florida to have an up-close and personal look at this classic Pontiac, or you can contact one of our friendly sales specialists online or over the phone at your convenience. Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle. V8 Engine - 4-Speed Muncie M20 Manual Transmission - 3.23 Safe-T-Track Rear End - PHS Documentation! - Rally Gauge Package w/ Factory Tach - Power Front Disc Brakes - Rare Correct Starlight Black Exterior with Correct Blue Interior - Strato-Bucket Seats and Center Console - Redline Tires - Factory Gauges - Working AM Radio!“Little GTO, You're really lookin' fine, Three deuces and a four-speed, And a three-eighty-nine”. The GTO was one of Pontiacs biggest hits, and you could say that it came down to great marketing with the song, the controversial tiger advertisements, Esso's tiger tails, and US Royal's Tiger Paw tires, but we all know it was because the car was just so good! The GTO was created by John DeLorean with hesitant approval from GM executives, but was an instant hit and is considered by many to be the first muscle car. This 1965 example has been extremely well restored and sports some unique features. Under the hood sits a ferocious rebuilt 389C.I. V8 engine that is believed to be original and has been upgraded to a Tri-Power induction system with Rochester carburetors for some extra get-up-and-go! That powerplant is mated to a Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission and a 3.23 Safe-T-Track rear axle to put that power to the pavement. Other features on this Goat include power disc brakes, Rally gauge package with factory tachometer, heavy duty radiator, quick ratio steering, T3 headlights, working Delco AM radio, and more! Though it's the color combination that's the most interesting and unique part, with it's correct Starlight Black exterior finish matched to the correct Blue vinyl interior with Strato-Bucket seats, a combination that you're unlikely to see anywhere else. This little Pon-Pon also comes with PHS documentation which proves its GTO status as well as original options and equipment.
