Camaro Z/28 # Matching VE3
Offered at:
$154,000
PD:
- Real X33 Code Z/28- Numbers Matching DZ Code 302C.I. V8 Engine- Muncie M21 Close Ratio 4-Speed Manual Transmission- Hurst Shifter- VE3 Body Color Front Bumper- Rally Wheels- Chambered Exhaust- Power Disc Brakes- Ivory Interior w/ Bucket Seats- Center Console w/ Gauges- Finished in Hugger Orange w/ White StripesThe first-generation Camaro lasted until this 1969 model year when it again paced the 69 Indianapolis 500. For 1969, Camaro had all-new sheet metal except the hood and trunk lid giving the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with a heavy 'V' cant and deeply inset headlights. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider, more aggressive look. The wheel wells were flattened with sculptured feature lines flowing off towards the rear of the car and rear-slanting simulated air slots ahead of the rear wheel. The front had a full width paint matched bumper integrated with the body color grille surround and round parking lights positioned on either side of the license plate. At the rear were wider tail light bezels with triple segment lenses. The interior was updated with square gauges and an optional tachometer. Camaro had two important packages available on any model. Perhaps the most special and iconic package option was the Z28 performance package that reflected Chevrolets entry in the SCCA Trans-Am race series. Z28 included a solid-lifter 302 V8, 4-Speed Manual Transmission, Power Disc Brakes, and two wide bold stripes down the hood and decklid. The styling, considered by many Camaro enthusiasts as the ultimate muscle car look and arguably the most popular, would serve for the 1969 model year only. Advertisements assured everyone Camaro isn't called The Hugger for nothing. Its wide stance and nimble wheelbase make for a cat-quick maneuverability. GM Executives agreed with the passion for this design as it became the inspiration for the retro fifth-generation Camaro. This stunning 1969 Camaro Z28 was built in the Norwood, Ohio plant during the fourth week of February and comes wearing the same classic Code 72 Chevy Camaro Hugger Orange it did from the assembly line. The original paint color has a deep luster on a body that is straight with good factory fit and finish. All the chrome and stainless shines and shows brilliantly throughout. Lifting the functional air breathing hood with the reverse cowl scoop reveals the 302 V8 that punches out 290 excited horses to grip the asphalt. The correctly numbered 302C.I. engine sits in an impressive engine bay that is clean, well preserved and properly sorted with original factory stickers and hardware that truly reflects the '69 factory presentation. Power is delivered by the Code M21 4-Speed close ratio transmission with the Hurst shifter. Performance is delivered to the raised white lettered BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires mounted on Rally wheels which adds to the stylish competition look. Inside this cool Camaro coupe, with trim Code 727 Ivory white Bucket Seat Interior as noted on the cowl tag, you'll find one of the most stylish and cleanest cockpits of the muscle era that is true to its originality. The full length console is fitted with an array of gauges for Battery, Temperature, Oil and Fuel which coordinate well with the Tach and Speedo within the Black Dash. Everywhere you look, you marvel at how this Camaro Z28 has been restored on a very high level with every precaution taken to preserve and show originality. Without a doubt, this Hugger Orange 1969 Camaro Z28 is a muscle car in its purest and most attractive form. Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle. - 1 of only 750! - 265C.I. V8 Engine - 3-Speed Manual Transmission - Correct Carter 4-bbl Carb - Rare No Radio Car! - Finished in Polo White w/ Silver Coves - Red Interior- Receipts, Restoration photos, Framed Owner's Manual, Break-In Information, and other booklets that appear originalThe first-generation Corvette would lay the groundworks for the most well-known sportscar made in America, and this 1956 example is part of that unique and amazing history. Under the hood of this gorgeous 50's 'Vette is the potent 265C.I. V8. 1956 is the final year for the 265C.I., the first V8 ever to be offered in a Corvette, and only 3,467 were produced for the year. That powerplant is fed fuel and air through its correct Carter 4-bbl carburetor and is connected to a 3-speed manual transmission. What makes this '56 Corvette really rare though is the fact that it was originally optioned without a radio, making it 1 of a mere 750 like it! Who would want a radio anyways when you have the charming burble of a classic V8 Corvette as your background track? 1956 is also the first year of only two for this unique design with its protruding single headlamps, recessed taillights, and scoops on the top of the front fenders. This 'Vette is finished in timeless Polo White accented by a bold red vinyl waffle pattern interior that shows excellently. - 1 of 2,045! - Date Code Correct 283C.I. 245hp 2x4bbl V8 Engine - 3-Speed Manual Transmission - Desirable "Wonderbar" Radio! - Finished in Cascade Green w/ Beige Coves - Beige Interior- Many Receipts, Owner's Manual that appears original, California Black Plate Registration sticker bolt-on tagThere's just something about a first-generation Corvette that makes us all smile. The Corvette was the answer to veterans coming home from Europe having experienced British roadsters in large numbers and looking for a similar experience back home. Of course, we had to outdo them. So, we took a lightweight fiberglass body and stuffed a super potent V8 under the hood starting with the 1955 model year which would soon grow to 283C.I. in 1957. This stunning 1957 example's engine is fitted with the highly desirable dual four-barrel carburetor option making 245hp, a massive amount more power than the foreign roadsters it was competing against. The engine is date code correct in line with the car's production date and is 1 of only 2,045 built with that powertrain option. The transmission backing it up is a fun 3-speed manual so you can enjoy rowing through the gears yourself as you blast down your favorite curvy roads. The exterior is finished in unique Cascade Green with beige coves and is nicely accented by glimmering chromework and white-wall tires. The interior sports beige vinyl bucket seats in the classic Corvette “waffle” pattern, as well as the desirable “Wonderbar” radio, and a reduced diameter steering wheel for added comfort and driving ease that retains the original classic look. This vintage 'Vette is ready to hit the boulevard and winding beachside roads, all it needs is someone to take it there.
