This true 138 code Super Sport comes with it's original Invoice Order Sheet describing it's slew of factory options: Special Suspension Equipment, Fan Drive Equipment, Front and Rear Bumper Guards, Bucket Seats with Center Console, Special Instrumentation with Knee-Knocker Tachometer, Deluxe Seatbelts, Simulated Wood Steering Wheel, Tinted Glass, and the rare Multiplex Stereo and Rear Speaker. In 1966 the Caprice was dropped from the Impala series to become its own line. The Caprice was now the most luxuriously equipped model in the Chevrolet line up. The Caprice was a deluxe Chevrolet with a color accented body striping. It had front fender and deck signatures, wide-ribbed body sills, wrap around rear taillights, special Caprice wheel covers, and more.
