It's 1 of only 145 ever built. The 1967 S-55 convertible is extremely rare. Under the hood sits the 428C.I. Super Marauder V8 mated to the smooth and strong Merc-O-Matic C-6 transmission. That monter under the hood produces 345hp and a mind-blowing 462lb-ft of torque! This luxurious Merc has enough power to blow away some of the high-end muscle cars of it's day and will still surprise anyone that dares to challenge it at a stoplight. That impressive drivetrain doesn't mean it loses any of it's luxury comfort and convenience though. It still has power steering and power front disc brakes as well as factory air conditioning, power driver's seat, a power top, and remote driver's mirror control.
