This makes this car an extremely rare find in what is a veritable sea of European specification and grey market cars. Under the bonnet is a high-performance 3.3L turbocharged flat-six mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and a factory optioned limited slip differential. The engine features an upgraded turbocharger with a GReddy boost controller, titanium exhaust system, Electromotive direct ignition with dual spark plug heads, polished water to air intercooler, and more! Four-piston Brembo brakes with cross-drilled rotors on every corner ensure that this über rare Porsche will stop on a dime. The exterior is finished in sleek, timeless, and correct Schwarz (Black) and is accented very nicely with bright yellow touches on the badges. Only 286 SL600s were made for the 2000 model year, making this a rare find in today's market. The SL600 had an original MSRP of over $125,000 and are quickly rising in value, but you can still get this one for just a fraction of the original price. The R129 SL introduced many advanced features for both safety and driving pleasure, including an integrated roll bar that can be raised by the driver with the touch of a button or will deploy automatically in the case of a rollover, side airbags, anti-lock brakes, an electronic stability system, power adjustable dampening, and power adjustable level control that can raise the car up to one inch for driving on rough roads. Other features include a Bose AM/FM/Cassette/CD stereo system with a 6-CD changer, heated power adjustable seats with three-position memory for both driver and passenger, keyless entry, automatic power antenna, and an integrated phone system that may be a bit of a novelty in today's world, but was a major draw for high-end customers when this car was new. The SL600 also features a voice recognition system, an extremely advanced technology for the time, and the instructional cassette for the system is unopened and still wrapped in it's original plastic.
