Flachbau is the German name given to this extremely rare variant of the 911 Turbo, but is often known as the Slantnose or Flatnose in English, for it's distinctively more aerodynamic, wedge-like shape, making it more akin to other supercars of the 1980's. The Flachbau was created after widespread admiration of the 935 racecar, with which it shares it's sleek shape. The standard Flachbau is already an extremely desirable and rare car, but this example adds onto that with it's “505” option code which denotes it at a true factory steel U.S. specification Slantnose, making it 1 of only 160 ever built. This makes this car an extremely rare find in what is a veritable sea of European specification and grey market cars. Under the bonnet is a high-performance 3.3L turbocharged flat-six mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and a factory optioned limited slip differential. The engine features an upgraded turbocharger with a GReddy boost controller, titanium exhaust system, Electromotive direct ignition with dual spark plug heads, polished water to air intercooler, and more! Four-piston Brembo brakes with cross-drilled rotors on every corner ensure that this über rare Porsche will stop on a dime. The exterior is finished in sleek, timeless, and correct Schwarz (Black) and is accented very nicely with bright yellow touches on the badges. The wheels are a special 17” 3-piece one-off custom made design and are wrapped in high-performance Dunlop rubber with 235/45/ZR17 in the front and 315/35/ZR17 in the rear. Factory options include a rare sunroof/moonroof for open top enjoyment, Porsche alarm system, dual power seats, and a high-end Porsche Alpine stereo unit with 2-CD changer and amplifier. The interior is covered in correct smooth Silver-Grey leather and features a leather wrapped Momo steering wheel and shift knob. The VDO gauges have been custom color keyed silver to match the immaculate interior of this striking piece of automotive excellence. Additionally, the odometer shows a mere 25,000 original miles. This is one of Porsche's great masterpieces that auto enthusiasts will not soon forget, especially such a truly wunderbar example such as this. The GTO was one of Pontiacs biggest hits, and you could say that it came down to great marketing with the song, the controversial tiger advertisements, Esso's tiger tails, and US Royal's Tiger Paw tires, but we all know it was because the car was just so good! The GTO was created by John DeLorean with hesitant approval from GM executives, but was an instant hit and is considered by many to be the first muscle car. This 1965 example has been extremely well restored and sports some unique features. Under the hood sits a ferocious rebuilt 389C.I. Trans AM

Offered at:

Call For Price: 941-966-1900

PD:

1982 Pontiac Firebird KITT finished in black paint with a tan interior. Powered by a 305CI V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission. The character of KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand) in the original Knight Rider series was physically embodied as a modified 1982 Pontiac Trans Am with numerous special features such as Turbo Boost (which allowed quick bursts of speed or jumping over obstacles), the ability to drive 'himself', a front mounted scanner bar that (among other things) allowed KITT to 'see', and 'molecular bonded shell' body armor, portrayed to be invulnerable to diamond headed drills, small arms fire, the impact of thrown objects, and even high speed impact with cinder block wall. The armor could also resist close explosive blasts although a direct hit could cause severe damage. The car's voice was supplied by actor William Daniels. While our KITT doesn't have Turbo Boost and crazy body armor it does have a fully custom interior to match that of the original series. Turn the key and see all the lights glow and hear that famous voice as KITT comes alive. Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle.
