V8 was born and included 11:1 compression, forged pistons, forged crankshaft, forged connecting rods, solid lifters, and a dual plane intake topped with a Holley carburetor. It was built to compete with cars like the Mustang Boss 302 and the Trans Am Javelins of it's day.
