442 W-30 Convertible

Offered at:

Call For Price: 941-966-1900

1 of 168! - Window Sticker! - Real W-30 Convertible! - Matching Numbers 455C.I. V8 Engine - Matching Numbers, Correct "OW" Code, Turbo-Hydramatic 400 Transmission w/ Hurst Dual-Gate Shifter - All Code Correct Quadrajet Carburetor! - Correct Winter's Aluminum Intake - Correct 3.23 Positraction Rear Axle upgraded w/ W-27 Aluminum Cover - Original Warranty Booklet - Documented Southern Car - Finished In Viking Blue w/ White Stripes & Convertible Top - Parchment Interior w/ Bucket Seats & Console - Photo History Including a Picture w/ Original Owner from June 1970 - Letters from OldsmobileYes, this is the real deal. 1 of 264 W-30 convertibles, and 1 of only 168 fitted with the strong Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission and Hurst Dual-Gate shifter. This W-30 still sports its numbers matching high-performance 455C.I. V8 engine, numbers matching correct “OW” code T-H 400 transmission, and correct “SF” code 3.23 Positraction rear axle. The famous W-30 added even more performance to the already potent 442, and was extremely under-rated at 370hp when it was really putting out close to 450hp! Torque? Are you even asking that question? In just about every guise the 455C.I. V8 made enough torque to reverse the rotation of the Earth. The W-30 is no different at an advertised 500lb-ft, and probably making a healthy amount more than that. It even features its all code correct Rochester Quadrajet carburetor and correct Winter's aluminum intake. The powerplant sits under a W25 lightweight fiberglass hood with dual fresh air scoops. All that power is sent to the rear wheels via that previously mentioned special heavy-duty T-H 400 and heavy-duty 3.23 Posi rear end. The W-30 was (and still is) an absolute beast of a muscle car. But all that performance doesn't mean you have to give up comfort and convenience, and this example is packed to the gills with options. Other features include the factory “Four-Season” air conditioner, power steering, power front disc brakes, Rocket Rally Pac gauges, FE2 Rally suspension, Y60 lighting package, A90 power trunk lid latch, and the interesting T44 interior hood lock. All these options and more can be found on the included original window sticker from nearby dealership Ferman Oldsmobile which this W-30 was originally purchased from in late 1969. Also included with the documentation of this outstanding Olds are the original warranty booklet, manuals, letters from Oldsmobile in reference to this car, and a photo history which includes a picture from July 1970 of the original owner with the car. The documentation also shows this to be a lifelong Southern car spending it's life in Florida and Georgia. The exterior has been finished in Viking Blue with white hood stripes that match the white convertible top and Parchment interior very nicely. It sits atop the legendary Olds Super Stock II wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle RH rubber. This car is one of the most sound investments you can make, and is sure to continue climbing in value for many years to come. Here is your chance to own the car of your dreams, all you have to do is give us a call, send us an email, or visit our showroom in sunny Venice, Florida and speak to one of our friendly sales associates. Don't wait, this W-30 is sure to attract many collectors! Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle. Being an R-code of course means that under the hood is the legendary 428C.I. Cobra-Jet V8 engine which is fed fresh air through the ram-air shaker hood scoop. That mammoth powerplant is connected to a 4-speed top-loader manual transmission with a correct Hurst T-handle shifter and a 3.50 Traction-Lok rear axle. This car is believed to have just 28,480 original miles along with all original body panels. Other features on this stunning Mach include power steering, power front disc brakes, sport slats, sport deck rear seat, tinted glass, and the highly desirable rim-blow steering wheel. Also included is a Deluxe Marti Report which details all the options that were originally fitted to the car. The underside of this stunning 'Stang has been exceptionally well-kept and superbly detailed and is finished in it's correct red oxide coating. The pinch welds and rocker panels are as straight as the day they left the factory and still show their stampings in high relief. The interior is covered in black knit vinyl for more comfort and better grip than a traditional smooth vinyl seat, and features bucket seats and a center console as well as wood-grain trim. The exterior has been finished in correct Calypso Coral and is nicely accented by black striping, glimmering chromework, and Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A rubber. Additionally, this Mach 1 has been a winner at the Cavalcade of Customs Cincinnati show. 1970 Dodge

Challenger T/A

Offered at:

Call For Price: 941-966-1900

PD:

- Signed by T/A Racing Driver Sam Posey!- Numbers Matching 340C.I. Six Pack V8- Heavy Duty A727 Transmission- Slap Stik Shifter- Real A53 Code T/A!- Lightweight Fiberglass Scooped Hood- Side Exit Exhaust- Mopar Rallye Wheels- Power Steering- Power Brakes- T/A Spoilers- Finished in correct FY1 Top Banana- Black Interior w/ Bucket Seats & ConsoleThe Dodge Challenger T/A is one of the most sought-after classic pony cars on the market. Sure, there were Challengers with bigger and more powerful engines, but the weight of those engines often made them feel heavy and cumbersome to drive. The T/A was a totally different animal. Under the lightweight factory fiberglass scooped hood sits the numbers matching, potent 340C.I. V8 fed by three 2-barrel Holley carburetors and exhaling through dual side exit exhaust, mated to the super strong A727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission with the 'Slap Stik' shifter and an 8¾” rear axle. This powertrain, as well as the fiberglass front and rear spoilers, make for a lightweight yet planted racing homologation car that feels like its ready to hit the track and dominate over any opponent. This was proven in the 1970 Trans-Am racing series where the Challenger held its ground excellently against competitors, with drivers like Sam Posey who was at the wheel of the #76 and #77 Challengers. This Challenger has been signed by Posey himself on the air cleaner lid for all to see when you pop those hood pins. This is a real deal T/A with the A53 option shown on the trim tag as well as the supplemental Trans Am trim tag and correct, T/A only, engine code in the VIN. Other features on this unique Challenger include power steering and brakes, high-performance aluminum radiator, Rallye instrument cluster, painted dual racing mirrors, as well as Mopar Rallye wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A rubber. Chrysler Corporation was very well known for their bright and whacky colors in this era called the High Impact Paint (HIP) line. This T/A is finished in one of those very desirable High Impact Paint colors, FY1 Top Banana, or Lemon Twist as it would be called for Plymouth. The black striping, hood, and spoilers accent that bright color very nicely and really make this car pop! Inside you'll find a High trim grade black vinyl interior with bucket seats and a center console. The trunk is very clean and houses the spare wheel and tire. Underneath, this Challenger T/A is exceptionally clean and solid. This car would make the perfect addition to any serious classic collection, especially for those who may already have a Z/28 or Boss Mustang and want to complete their trinity of Trans-Am homologation cars from the era with one of the nicest T/As on the market. Please feel welcome to visit our showroom/museum in sunny Venice, Florida for a personal viewing of this delightful Dodge, or you may contact a member of our sales team online or over the phone at your convenience for more information about putting this one in your garage! Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle.
