Other features on this Chevelle include power front disc brakes, power steering, factory air conditioning, and the desirable U14 gauge package. The exterior was an evolution of the much-loved 1970 design with a more squared-off front end with a change from quad headlamps with a bumper integrated turn signal to a single lamp on each side with a turn signal and side reflector combination. The rear was changed as well to a somewhat Corvette-like quad round taillight design with more chrome and a larger SS logo.
