1960 Austin-Healey

Sprite

Offered at:

$15,983

Peppy 948cc 4-Cylinder Engine - Twin SU Carburetors - 4-Speed Manual Transmission - 8-Spoke Alloy Wheels - Signal Red w/ White Stripe - Extremely Fun Roadster! - Fantastic Sound! - Black InteriorThe Austin-Healey Sprite is one of the most legendary British roadsters of all time. Called the “frogeye” in it's home country and the “bugeye” in the US, the first generation was most definitely a unique design. Little is it known that the headlights were to be retractable like the Lamborghini Miura or Porsche 928, but engineering concerns prevented them making it to production and thus, the design was born that would make the Sprite forever famous. This is a wonderful 1960 example finished in bold Signal Red with a white stripe and offset by a black interior. The engine is a peppy 948cc 4-cylinder fed by twin SU carburetors and mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Like most British 4-cylinders, it sounds absolutely amazing! It rides on very nice 8-spoke alloy wheels and radial tires. It's always a fun time in this classic British roadster, and it's ready to hit the road and make new memories with it's new owner! Feel free to visit our showroom/museum in sunny Venice, Florida or contact us online or over the phone to add this bugeye to your garage today! Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle.
