1956 Chevrolet

3100 Pick-Up

Offered at:

$59,983

PD:

The 1950s were a special time for American automobiles. Chrome, big fenders, narrow wheels, and futuristic comfort features were all the rage. Chevrolet was perhaps the most pervasive brand of the era thanks to big hits like the tri-five Bel Air's. This popular trend extended even into Chevys pickup lineup. Introduced in 1955, the Chevrolet Task Force pickups featured all the right stuff, plus offered a heavier duty chassis than its predecessors.  The Chevy Task Force came with a striking new design that mirrored Chevys passenger car designs such as the sculptured headlamp visors helped to create a racy profile. The Task Force series also bought never-before-seen comforts to the pickup segment, including a wraparound windshield, wraparound rear glass on Deluxe Cab models, a larger interior, power steering, power brakes, a 12-volt electrical system, and an optional automatic transmission. Whats more, 1955 was the first year for Chevys legendary small-block V-8.  But it was 1956 when Chevrolet built the truck you see here. This 3100 model is nicely equipped with the reliable V8 and mated to an automatic transmission as well as air conditioning to keep you comfortable in the hot summer months.  It does sport the optional Deluxe Cab with the rounded rear glass and is superbly finished in a gorgeous bright red paint with a solid wood bed.  These trucks are one of the most sought after classic American trucks on the market.  One in this condition wont last long so call us now!  Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle.
