Also included is a list of part numbers for various items on the car and their date of production, showing that many of the parts are date code correct and likely original. That powerplant is fed fuel and air through its correct Carter 4-bbl carburetor and is connected to a 3-speed manual transmission. What makes this '56 Corvette really rare though is the fact that it was originally optioned without a radio, making it 1 of a mere 750 like it! Who would want a radio anyways when you have the charming burble of a classic V8 Corvette as your background track? 1956 is also the first year of only two for this unique design with its protruding single headlamps, recessed taillights, and scoops on the top of the front fenders.
