Firebird Convertible

Offered at:

$49,983

PD:

400C.I. V8 Engine - Turbo-Hydramatic 400 Transmission - Power Steering - Power Brakes - Power Convertible Top - PMD Rally II Wheels - Finished in Carousel Red - Black Interior w/ Bucket Seats & Wood Burl Veneer Center ConsoleThe Pontiac Firebird is a General Motors legend. It started like almost all 1960's Pontiac success stories; with John DeLorean. Having been shot down on his Banshee concept car, John took on the new Camaro's chassis instead and gave it unique Pontiac flair. Under the hood of this beautiful example sits a potent 400C.I. V8 engine fed by a 4-barrel carburetor and mated to a strong Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission that's sure to allow this classic Pon-Pon to drive down the road with ease. Other features included on this Firebird include power brakes, power steering, and power convertible top for open air fun. The exterior is finished in bold Carousel Red accented by tasteful amounts of chrome and PMD Rally II wheels wrapped in high-performance Sumitomo HTR A/S P02 redline tires. The interior is in very nice condition and is covered in smooth black vinyl with bucket seats and a center console finished in a tasteful wood burl veneer. The Firebird became as much of a pony car staple as it's sister Camaro, and solidified Pontiac's performance image for years to come. Pontiac may not be with us today, but they've left a lasting impression on the American automotive landscape that won't be forgotten. Please feel welcome to visit our showroom/museum in sunny Venice, Florida for an up-close and personal look at this stunning Firebird, or you may contact a member of our friendly sales team online or over the phone at your convenience. Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle. 1969 AMC

AMX

Offered at:

$39,983

PD:

How about a one of one 1969 AMC AMX's with a paint code of '00' or in simple terms 'Custom AMC Color Option'. Perhaps a little history of pink AMX's is in order. With the advent of the muscle car era American Motors was not going to be passed up by the competition so they began to market to a more youthful segment of buyers. They began in 1966 with V8 power and quickly blossomed with performance car models: SC/Rambler, Rebel Machine and AMX through out the decade. Reportedly in 1968 AMC President of Marketing held a dealer meeting at one of Hugh Heffners Playboy Clubs and awarded the Playmate of the Year with a new custom built Pink AMX. Fast forward to 1969 at Sparks Motors in Bonne Terre MS; a lady school teacher wanted to order a new AMX in pink. She paid $200 extra for the car from the factory with '00' special color code. It is believed that there were only two AMX's in pink.....one in 1968 and the current offered 1969. This car is powered by a 390 cubic inch V-8 and opitonal Go Package and make this car one desirable AMX.  Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for the most complete information on this beautiful vehicle.
