This 1984 Mini-Cruiser is a rare and unique utility vehicle you've probably never heard of. That's because it was built by Delta Motors Corporation, a company that made Toyota products for the Philippines for over 20 years. They also applied their own name to a model they called the Mini-Cruiser, which was basically a compact version of the Toyota Land Cruiser. The Mini-Cruiser was made in other various body styles including a 5-seater jeep, just like our example. Mini-Cruisers have become extremely rare and desirable over the years and are sought after by those looking for something a little different than your average off-roader. It's powered by the spunky 1.6L Toyota 12R engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. This example comes with the uncommon all stainless-steel body. Most of the body is polished and unpainted except for some spots painted light blue and the hood which is brushed for anti-glare. It comes with a unique white vinyl interior and has a totally rad, era-correct, Pioneer stereo system. Power brakes ensure safe and secure stops. It also comes equipped with an aftermarket Momo steering wheel and rides on very nice 15” Rota alloy wheels. This Delta would make a fantastic beach car and will have everyone coming up to ask you “What is that?”. Please feel free to come visit our showroom/museum in sunny Venice, Florida or contact us online or over the phone to put this Mini-Cruiser in your garage today! 1966 Amphicar

770

Offered at:

Call For Price: 941-966-1900

PD:

1,447cc Inline 4-Cylinder Engine - 4-Speed Manual Transmission - Original Spare, Jack, and Tool Kit - Twin Bilge Pumps - Finished in White - Red Interior Does this car even need an introduction? Well if you don't know, this is an Amphicar 770. Yes, it's exactly what is sounds like, this is an amphibious car. The name 770 comes from it's speed: 7mph on the water and 70mph on land. Power comes from the peppy 1,447cc inline 4-cylinder engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. At the flip of a switch the dual rear props can be engaged and have forward and reverse gears. Both the rear wheels and props can be used at the same time during landings. Because of it's amphibious nature, the 770 comes equipped with dual bilge pumps and extra seals for all compartments to keep water out. It will certainly bring lots of attention both on land and especially in the water. The interior is covered in bold red and white vinyl with rubber floor mats for easy clean up incase of any water intrusion. Perhaps the best Amphicar story comes by way of President Lyndon B. Johnson, who kept his Amphicar at his ranch in Texas and would gives tours to advisors and friends. Often, President Johnson would act as if the brakes had malfunctioned as he barreled the car towards a small lake, his guests would begin to panic until they realized they were still dry and car had leveled out on the water. It's obvious President Johnson loved his Amphicar and had many fun years with it, and now you have the opportunity to do the same in this charming little white 770. Under the hood is the extremely desirable 270hp solid lifter 283C.I. V8 engine fed by correct dual 4-barrel WCFB Carter carburetors (1 of 978). Other factors that make this Corvette among the rarest and most desirable is that it was built with a 4-speed manual transmission (1 of 3,764), no radio (1 of 3,026), no heater (1 of 1,154), and with a hardtop in replacement of a convertible soft top (1 of 2,215). Due to changing safety regulations happening from 1972-1974 the 1973 Corvette got the sleek looking integrated bumper in the front for the first time but was able to retain it's chrome rear bumper until the next model year. This makes the '73 a true one-year-only design that surely deserves some respect among Corvette enthusiasts. Under the hood of this example sits it's numbers matching 350C.I. V8 engine mated to a strong Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission. This Corvette is loaded with options that make it a great touring car, including factory air conditioning, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, power windows, AM/FM stereo, power steering, power disc brakes, T-tops, and a supple leather interior.
